For starters, I'll give you the bland chat info. I'm 21, 5'10", and 145 pounds. I live in Amherst, NY, which is a suburb of Buffalo. I go to the University at Buffalo, or the State University of New York at Buffalo, its official name. There I am a junior somewere in the Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS) or Economics or Civil Engineering departments, depending on my mood I guess :) So, I've had a few run ins with changes of majors.
I've been in the Buffalo area since August of '94, and have a house now (apartment) in Amherst with one other guy. At present I bicycle the 3 miles to school, which is lots and lots of fun in the snow. I used to have a car, but I had a little sliding action into a curb last January. Anyway, it keeps me in shape. The other thing I actively participate in to keep in shape is kung fu. I'm vice-president of the club at are school, and Dan, my housemate is president. I've been active in it for over a year now, and I think it's pretty cool, fun, and well, you get to do cool stuff so why not. Also, some people are even somewhat intimidated by me now, which is quite different then before. It has also made me more confident, and definately put me in a kick ass mood. Two other clubs I'm involved in are the Steel Bridge Team, a civil engineering competition club for which I design the web page, and the Unitarian Universalist Student Association, of which I'm president. That last club isn't particularly active though. Back to a more personal note, I like techno music, particularly ambient. I listen to TheDJ.com regularly, it has about 60 channels of stereo realaudio broadcasting. It was recently featured in wired magazine. They haven't had good music on the radio recently, so thats where I go. Besides that I listen to everything, yes really I do. My favorite artists though are Tori Amos, Jewel, Björk, and Qkumba Zoo. My favorite cd's though are the soundtrack to Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction. I also really go for alternative and even punk, ska, and hard rock. |
